Celebrated on October 17th, ‘Thank Your Cleaner Day’ was the perfect opportunity to get all of Civic’s staff together and show our appreciation for the special work that they do. Our teams met up at various venues and locations around the country, including Omana Regional Park, and enjoyed pizzas and drinks, bbqs, games and team activities (which were very competitive!) .
Thank Your Cleaner Day is a national awareness day that was established in New Zealand three years ago. It is a day dedicated to recognising the many commercial, residential and civic cleaners who work, often out of sight and outside normal working hours, to keep our living and working spaces clean, safe and hygienic. At Civic, we love the concept and are always keen to show how much we value all of our staff and the important roles they play in maintaining our cities and communities.
