Civic was excited to take part in a recent ANZ Insights case study on business innovation and productivity. The case study was produced on the back of a research report by ANZ that showed that businesses that acquire new products or services, or change the way they do things, typically achieve significant productivity gains over those that do not.
In our two-minute video, Bjorn talks about and showcases some of the ways in which Civic continues to invest in R&D, innovation, technology and equipment to help make our business more efficient and give us an edge on our competitors. The video was filmed over two days and features some of our smart bin sensors, electric vans and trucks in action!
Following the publication of the case study, Bjorn was invited to present at a special breakfast event with ANZ Chief Economist Sharon Zollner, where he was interviewed by Penny Ford (ANZ General Manager, Commercial and Agri, Auckland and Northland) about Civic’s investments in equipment and innovation. It was a great privilege to be asked to contribute to this event and it felt great to be able to talk about all the things we are doing to make our work more sustainable and innovative.
Bjorn was also interviewed by Larry Williams on NewstalkZB about how innovation can be used to boost productivity. Listen to the interview here.
