Privacy Statement
Civic collects personal information from Clients, Suppliers and Employees, in order to provide; a service (to Clients), purchase goods from Suppliers, and employ and pay people (Employees).
We collect the following information from Clients:
- Name of business
- contact information
- billing information
We collect the following information from Suppliers:
- Name of business
- contact information
- purchase information, including bank account details in order to pay for goods and services, and tax information
Client and supplier information is collected and stored on our Accounting database, and can only be accessed by Civic personal who have direct responsibility for the client or supplier relationship.
We collect the following information from Employees (with their consent):
- Name and address
- Next of kin details
- Bank details
- Pre-employment information, such as a CV, reference details, driver licence details, citizen status, drug test results, previous ACC history information, tax information
Employee information is collected by way of the employee completing an application and providing Civic with the information required. This information is kept on an electronic employee file and all written documents are confidentially destroyed. Supervisors, Team Managers, Director and the People & Culture team have access to these files.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact [email protected]
Civic will not pass on information to a third party without your written consent, with the exception of Government Agencies who have demonstrated that they are legally entitled to the information.
